Ride A Bike
I know this is too cliché as it almost seems like a staple to romantic comedy movies but riding a bike together is a great dating idea for people who like to explore the outdoors. Whether it is an individual bike for each other or a couples tandem bike, which will take teamwork, it’s a enjoyable ride.
Picnic in the Park
This is a pretty common one, but there is a reason why it keeps on being done, it is a staple and effective classic way to go on a date. Not only can it be inexpensive, but it also fulfills your urge to be outside. All you need is a blanket, a basket full of food, maybe a few drinks. Trying adding some flowers to give her to kick the romance up a bit.
Rent A Convertible
If you have extra cash in the bank, then why not rent a convertible for a day and take your date someplace you both adore. Whether it’s a drive in the woods, a nearby waterfall, a coastal view or just a trip around town, riding in a convertible will make it exciting and fun. It makes a perfect picture of a Hollywood romantic movie ending.
Visit A Winery
It does not matter if you are a fan or not of wine drinking, what is important is to set up your date somewhere romantic but still fits an outdoorsy person. A winery may sound too formal, but it is actually a great place to have your date. You can choose to either have an intimate conversation in the venue’s porch while drinking your wine or enjoy a walk along its vineyard and simply explore.
Walk Along The Beach
Well, there is a lot of things you can do along the beach and one of the best, yet simplest is to take a stroll on the beach. There is nothing more romantic than walking barefoot along its shores while appreciating the beauty in front of you with the sunset as your backdrop. Apart from walking, you can obviously also take a dip and do some swimming, or lay a blanket and have a picnic. If you want a bit more, rent a kayak to explore nearby rock formations or go fishing.
Best done in summertime, this activity is my ultimate dream date – stargazing. All you need is to look for the best spot, lay a blanket and just lie down and be amazed on the beauty of the cosmic. If you want to step up this date idea, you might need to schedule it when there is a celestial activity happing like a meteor shower, a comet passing by or a lunar eclipse showing off. Don’t forget insect repellant. Bugs are not romantic.
Take a Hike
The fresh air brought by either summer and spring is best to enjoy while hiking, and maybe holding hands with someone. Look for a nature trail or a nearby hill to hike. Explore all there is to see from the plants, insects, and any information listed on the trail.
